Birth of Rama Lord Rama's birthday is well-known as Rama navami By Hindu calendar we celebrate Rama navami on chatrya sukla navami. Lord Rama is well-known as elder son of Dasarath among four other sons. Other three sons of Dasarath are Bharat ,Laxman ,satrughana. King Dashratha had three wife  kausalya , Kaikayi ,sumitra .
